Gurbani and Kirtan Curriculum
G1: Gurbani - Level 1
In this course, students learn how to
accurately recite the banis used commonly in the Diwan.
We hope that this will increase the children involvement in the
Diwan.
G2: Gurbani
- Level 2
In this
course, students will go in-depth with the meaning of the Sikh Banis and
Ardaas.
K1: Kirtan - Level 1
In this class, students learn to sing
selected shabads. Students
will not learn how to play instruments in this class.
K2: Kirtan - Level 2
This class gives students an opportunity to
learn how to play instruments used in kirtan.
The class is conducted by members of Ragi Jatha.
Classses are generally held after langar on Sundays.
Participation in this course requires a separate registration
and fee.
